According to a recent study, Russian energy investments in Europe are motivated by the interplay of economical and political factors. In addition, the focus of Russian energy investments is shifting from small-scale acquisitions to large-scale infrastructure ventures.
The results are published in a report by Stefan Ehrstedt and Peeter Vahtra of the Pan-European Institute at the Turku School of Economics.
