Cooperation

Turku School of Economics is internationally renowned for its know-how in business economics. One of our special tasks is to ensure that business know-how is strongly present in the development of business operations and the commercialization of innovations. We also bring business know-how to the education of students in other fields as well as to large research projects not only regionally but also nationally and internationally.

International cooperation

Internationality is an integral and natural part of the everyday operations of Turku School of Economics. The researchers and staff of TSE function actively in international networks and cooperative projects.

The publishing-related activities of our personnel in high-standard international scientific journals are well-established. Our personnel also engage in other responsible specialist tasks, such as the editing of scientific periodicals, the evaluation of manuscripts offered for publishing, and the organization of conferences. Several international conferences are arranged on an annual basis at Turku School of Economics.

TSE’s teacher and researcher exchange is regular, and the international student exchange is highly active. Turku School of Economics is part of a comprehensive network of cooperating universities.

Corporate cooperation

Strong business know-how and close interaction with companies and other areas of business life ensure that the research conducted at TSE is applicable to practice. Research and training on order as well as consultation are performed for actors in economic life.

Regional cooperation

Turku School of Economics is a significant regional actor itself in both Southwest Finland and Satakunta. Turku’s universities and Turku Science Park are developing new business activity with their corporate laboratory and business incubator operations, and TSE functions as a generator of business know-how for the Turku Science Park group.

A unit functions in Pori that offers expertise in business economics, composed of degree-related instruction as well as commercial life and entrepreneurship by means of supplementary-type training and research developed by the TSEcore unit (Centre of Region and Entrepreneurship).
