International Cooperation

We promote internationality

Business knowledge in the global environment represents one of TSE’s knowledge-related areas of emphasis. A broad cooperative university network and good relations with the world represent the key to internationality on the part of students and staff.

At Turku School of Economics, students are encouraged in the direction of internationality. For this purpose, the School has established a wide-ranging cooperative university network abroad. This enables foreign studies for about 150 students every academic year.

Turku School of Economics has a student exchange agreement with a total of 80 foreign universities in 30 countries. The School participates in the following international student exchange programmes: Erasmus, Nordplus and Isep. In addition, the School has bilateral agreements with various universities.

Establishing researcher exchange

Support for visits abroad by the teaching staff is regarded as important at Turku School of Economics. Departing for foreign countries and making visits should be a natural part of academic life.

About twenty members of staff set off for foreign destinations each year on research and teaching visits. Correspondingly, a few dozen foreign visitors visit TSE for research and teaching purposes.
