In 2010, the National Enterprise Education Seminar will be held in Turku. The seminar is a platform for the practitioners and researchers to meet and discuss. The seminar continues to develop enterprise education research and practice.
The theme for the seminar will be entrepreneurial learning.
- How to teach and learn in an entrepreneurial fashion?
- What is an entrepreneurial teacher and learner?
- How to give feedback and assess learning outcomes?
The Keynote Speaker for the Seminar will be a leading researcher in the field of entrepreneurial learning, Professor David Rae from Lincoln Business School, England.
There will be also national Keynote Speakers and workshop presentations from various perspectives to enterprise education. In addition to research papers and dissertations plans we invite submissions on pedagogical papers, book reviews and project presentations.
Timeframe for submissions:
- 1.6.2010: Deadline for submitting an abstract for the presentation.
- 30.6.2010: Feedback to the authors.
- 1.9.2010: Submission of final papers, research plans and case presentations.

The University of Turku and Turku School of Economics will merge according to the new university act to a new University of Turku from the beginning of 1.1.2010. This is done to create an even stronger research centre in Turku. The starting point for the merger is the University’s prominent and versatile basic research, which will be strengthen by the business expertise from the School of Economics.
