Turku Institute for Advanced Studies, TIAS organizes an Annual Seminar on June 3rd 2010 under the theme “Future Challenges for Social Sciences and Humanities”. The seminar is open to all researchers. The Keynote Speakers include Professor Björn Wittrock from Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study from Uppsala and the new Academy Professors at the University of Turku; Anne Kovalainen and Erno Lehtinen.
In the seminar three thematic workshops will be organized on
- Life-course events: Successes and Failure
- Regulation and deregulation: Interdisciplinary perspectives on economy
- Violence in society
A researcher wishing to present a paper at any of the workshops is asked to send an abstract to the workshop organizers by 15 April.
