First student has graduated from the Master’s Degree Programme in Global Innovation Management (GIM).
The Master's Degree Programme in Global Innovation Management (GIM) was initiated in autumn 2006 and it admits around 20 students annually. Almost half of the admitted students have been from abroad. This year 121 students applied to the programme.
The programme combines studies and research in international business and entrepreneurship. It also provides students with in-depth knowledge of the core areas of innovation management.
The GIM-programme at Turku School of Economics has generated interest in several European universities, which are currently planning similar kinds of programmes.
The newly graduated Master of Science, Kirsi Pitkänen, has already started her career in a large international company.
”The programme was a complete package of interesting studies. Innovation courses were fascinating, I could have even taken more of them”, says Kirsi Pitkänen.
