Information systems science in TSE and ICT Standard Forum have started co-operation by taking benefit of the ICT Standard for Management, which is an open source framework for managing ICT like a business.
‒ ICT Standard for Management is a framework which is suitable as education material for several courses related to ICT management. Students can easily access all the material which the framework offers through the www.ictstandard.org website. Our international programs and courses, which we are jointly developing with our international partner universities, can also benefit from the framework as it’s written in English. As the ICT Standard for Management is open standard it also opens doors for developing the standard among our students, master’s thesis workers and researchers. To gain full benefit from the framework we have started looking for further ways to collaborate with ICT Standard Forum, but already now it can be used to our benefit, says professor Hannu Salmela.
The ICT Standard Forum is a international community of business and IT professionals that work to promote and develop the ICT Standard for Management framework and shares related tools and articles with it’s members. See more at www.ictstandard.org.
