Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration
The Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration is a graduate level degree. The extent of the Master's degree is 120 ECTS credits, and it can be completed in two years.
Structure of the degree
- Studies in major 60 ECTS cr. (including Master's thesis 30 ECTS cr.)
- Studies in minor 25 ECTS cr.
- Methodological studies 7 ECTS cr.
- Language and communication studies 10 ECTS cr.
- Elective studies 18 ECTS cr.
Studies leading to a Master's degree in the economic sciences are mainly made up of major subject specialization and minor subject studies. The Master of Economic Sciences degree is comprised of studies in language and communications as well as methodology, which is common to all. Master of Social Sciences
The Master of Social Sciences is a graduate level degree. The extent of the Master's degree is 120 ECTS credits, and it can be completed in two years.
Structure of the degree
- Studies in major (Economics) 90 ECTS cr. (including Master's thesis 30 ECTS cr.)
- Other studies 20 ECTS cr.
At TSE the degree can only be completed in Finnish.
Master's degree programmes at TSE
Some Master's degree programmes are offered completely in English. The Master's degree programmes are specialised two-year programmes that are premised on up-to-date scientific research. The structure of these programmes is in line with the Master of Science degree structure and schedule.
