Turku - a city where students feel at home 

Turku is truly a city that welcomes students. There are no fewer than three universities and four universities of applied sciences operating in the city, wich boasts a total of 30 000 students. Turku itself has a population of 175,000, and as such is one of Finland's major urban centres. Turku is also a centre of cultural life. Particularly in the summer, Turku hosts many festivals and special events.
