Economics thus analyses the decision-making behaviour of, for instance, business enterprises, households, financial institutions and other “micro” decision-makers. Economic micro theory is therefore closely connected with business sciences. In economic studies at TSE, corporate economics is emphasized more than in studies at social science orientated universities. Macro theory is also an indispensable part of an economist’s core know-how.
