The annual course of KATAJA, Theories and Research in International Mergers and Acquisitions, will be organised at theTurku School of Economics in week 47, 21.11.-24.11.2011.
The course gives an overview of the main areas and contemporary research approaches which are applied within the field. Research areas deal with managing the M&A process, the role of culture in M&As, HRM view to M&As, relationship view to M&As, acquisition performance and publishing about M&As. After the completion of the course the students have an overview of relevant topics and how research is conducted in the field at present. The course will have experts from the field as teachers both from Finland and abroad.
