Cooperation 

The Logistics subject in Turku School of Economics is actively participating in international research projects. In the past few years Logistics has been a partner in several projects.

Logistics Performance Index

The Logistics Performance Index ranks 150 states according to their logistical performance, evaluated on multiple criteria. The index was developed and data gathered by Turku School of Economics, and evaluated in association with The World Bank. The report was published in 2007.

LogOn Baltic

The LogOn Baltic project produced regional analyses of the ICT and logistics sector of the Baltic Sea Region for the benefit and use of municipalities, various industry memebers and ather decision and policy makers. The project was funded by European Union INTERREG IIIB Neighbourhood Programme, and consisted of partners from eight Baltic Sea Region countries.

DaGoB

DaGoB -project connects the public and private sector in the Baltic Sea Region to ensure the safety of the dangerous goods transport chains. The project was funded by European Union INTERREG IIIB Neighbourhood Programme, and coordinated by Turku School of Economics in 2006-2007.

Trade and Transport Facilitation Audit of The Baltic States: On a Fast Track to Economic Development

Trade and Transport Facilitation Audit of The Baltic States examined the competitiveness of the Baltic States via transport sector and transport infrastrucutre, both before and after the European Union membership. The research was conducted for The World Bank by Turku School of Economics, and published in 2005.
