Entrepreneurship is one of the focal areas of emphasis at Turku School of Economics. Research in the field is particularly concentrated within the
TSE Entre. Entrepreneurial research is implemented as basic scientific research and contract research.
Basic scientific research comprises
dissertations in

entrepreneurship
as well as longer-term and more comprehensive research programmes. Contract research is carried out as assignments, which rest on resolving concrete problems the client has.
Our clients are, for instance, state ministries, other public sector organizations, associations representing various business fields and entrepreneurs, trade unions, foundations, and private enterprises organizations.
Research focuses on entrepreneurs as individuals, companies and their business operations, and the position and promotion of entrepreneurship in the society. The research results bring new information and tools to, among other things, teaching in entrepreneurship and for entrepreneurship policy decision-makers and other interest groups.
