Objectives of the GIM programme

Graduates of Global Innovation Management Master’s Degree programme have a significant personal development experience behind them.

They attended lectures and seminars with class sizes varying usually between 10 and 30 students. They have experienced intercultural communication in most courses by engaging in team-sized collaborative learning groups. These graduates have a very strong foundation in research and inquiry and are being trained to utilise scientific methods to solve real world problems.

These graduates not only know things, but have the ability to actively apply this knowledge to new situations. In addition, these people possess the valuable capability to generate new knowledge – that is what the programme makes of its students.

Capabilities and skills development are emphasised to deal with the knowledge-based challenges of the firm. How to innovate a business concept? What determines success in new product and service development? What factors need to be considered in commercialisation? Which decisions need to be taken to expand internationally?

Our students are confronted with these and similar questions on an ongoing basis. They learn to develop their individual mental models and mindsets in order to find their own innovative solution approaches for answering them.

In our experience that is what innovation-driven firms need.
