Entrepreneurship as a Career

At the TSE Entre, entrepreneurship as a career alternative is investigated from the perspectives of academic entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and enterprise education.

Waged work and entrepreneurship have traditionally been understood as separate career alternatives and forms of employment. However, due to the changes taken place at the societal and organisational level entrepreneurship has become a real, substantial career alternative for increasingly more members of the working population. Simultaneously, the contents of waged work and entrepreneurship have advanced one another. This can be seen, for example, in the increase of project-based work and performance-based rewarding systems and overlaps between work and leisure.
