The eMBA Turku offers executives and experts the latest academic business knowledge with a practical touch. Networking and exchange of experiences are fundamental elements of eMBA studies. The eMBA Turku is a part-time programme consisting of three one-year modules. The completed eMBA programme is valued in the business world and stands as a proof of the person’s competence and the employer company´s willingness to invest in developing its human resources.
The main focus areas of the eMBA Turku programme are global business excellence; visionary leadership; entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity; and personal growth. Accordingly, we are committed to enable you to gain skills and competences in:
• GLOBAL BUSINESS EXCELLENCE: Strong and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of fundamental theories, models, concepts and methods related to business competence and a variety of related disciplines; ability to operationalize this knowledge and to develop sound business competences in a global business environment.
• VISIONARY LEADERSHIP: Becoming a visionary leader, who is future-oriented, who has capabilities for business foresight, strategic thinking, and transformational leadership, and who can stimulate and inspire others towards the shared vision.
• ENTREPRENEURSHIP, INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY: Ability to recognize and exploit possibilities of strategic entrepreneurship in different organizational contexts in searching for innovation, renewal, change and growth.
• PERSONAL GROWTH: Developing as a leader with increased competences in critical thinking, communication, networking, and advanced intellectual capabilities backed up by insights from philosophy, history, arts and culture.
All sessions of the eMBA Turku modules draw from these key focus areas.
The eMBA (100 ECTS) can be completed in about 2,5 - 3 years as a part-time study programme alongside work but it’s possible to take a break between the modules. The study days are always during the week-days. We’ve received good feedback from the participant’s employers that all our assignments are tailored to the companies’ needs so the study time is very profitable for the company as well.
eMBA Turku has awarded EPAS accreditation
eMBA Turku programme has gained the EPAS quality label. EPAS is EFMD’s (European Foundation for Management Development) accreditation for international degree programmes in business and management.
According to EPAS Peer Review Report the specific strengths of eMBA Turku are among others strong corporate links, well-qualified and highly committed programme management team, well-balanced programme structure, extensive study-abroad features and excellent library and IT infrastructure.
