Academic Education

Finland Futures Research Centre offers futures studies courses for
undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as adult education
and development processes
for companies and public organisations.
We also initiate research activities in the field of learning in the future.

For undergraduates

Finland Futures Research Centre offers a two-year master’s degree programme in futures studies together with its mother university, Turku School of Economics (TSE). The master's degree programme is organised in English.

Finland Futures Academy (FFA) offers undergraduate students a futures studies study programme of 20 to 30 ECTS to be included in a higher degree and/or Master's degree. A part of the FFA courses are organised with international co-operation organisations.

In addition to futures studies we offer also a study programme on responsible business. The programme is available for first degree students at TSE. There is also a possibility for others to participate in these courses through the open university.

For postgraduates

Together TSE, the Centre and the FFA are responsible for the administration and co-ordination of the Graduate School in Future Business Competencies (TULIO). TULIO Graduate School is a network of 26 elected doctoral students.

In addition, the Centre together with the economic sociology department of the TSE offer a postgraduate programme of futures studies with economic sociology as the major.
