The research group analyses and develops the future of communications. Its main tasks are generation of information for the development of the media industry as well as anticipation of social changes affecting the branch of 
communications.
The group focuses on:
- basic research in media economy and communications industry,
- the development of expertise and know-how in the field of communications and
- the anticipation of cultural and social changes related to communications.
The research group is formed of communications specialists, media researchers and professionals in futures research. In the network, there are experts from universities as well as from the communications industry.
