Ongoing projects:

Future of Food Consumption

The goal of the group specialising in foresight methods in the case of Food Consumption is to generate information about the possible, probable and preferable food consumption alternatives.

The group generates futures data in a informative qualitative and quantitative formats as support for both national and international decision-making in corporations as well as policy arenas.

We generate specialist training

  • lectures for various educational programmes
  • presentations for seminars
  • nuggets of information as the basis for discussions
  • broader educational programmes in cooperation with various actors

The themes may relate, for instance, to trends in the food industry field, changes in operational environments, changes in consumer behaviour and alternative scenarios in food consumption.

Our educational services also belong more widely to various themes and methods connected with futures research, such as the acquisition of futures knowledge and futures anticipation, the generation of futures-related images and ‘making the future’ and the production of scenarios.
