The Finland Futures Research Centre research group concentrated on regional development and foresight offers versatile, high-quality developmental services for area-based foresight.
We have implemented many foresight-related projects in both Finland and Europe as a whole. These projects are linked with, e.g., the futures strategies of subregions, the development of infrastructure, the foresight of educational requirements and innovation-driven regional development.
Apply the tools for outlining the future
Practical possibilities to utilise our foresight and research in the development of the municipality or subregion are, for instance, the following processes:
- Smaller foresight surveys and futures workshops
- The creation of a vision-based strategy portfolio
- The ARVOPRO process method: an effective tool for the planning and implementation of inter-municipal business and industrial policy
- Specialist enquiries with regard to desired and feasible municipal and regional development
- The formulation and updating of area development strategy on the basis of foresight data and the participation process
- The Futures Club: a visionary change and network management tool
- Broader combination projects concerning the above-mentioned alternatives
We will gladly tell you more about our research and development services and prepare a tailor-made offer specifically for your area.
Let’s make the future together!
