Future of Socio-cultural Phenomena

Understanding and managing change

Cultural knowledge is required in the modern world. It represents the understanding and management of multifaceted and transitional culture and cultural encounters thriving within local, global and glocal social networks.

We offer a multidisciplinary perspective and tools for development. We combine futures research with socio-cultural theoretical and methodological knowledge from multiple fields. We emphasize participatory, proactive building and the identification of alternative futures, proceeding from the level of the individual.

In practice

  • we implement participatory futures processes in organizations and networks
  • as techniques, we use among others futures workshops, the construction of scenarios, the Delfi method, trend analysis and soft system methodology
  • we apply qualitative research methods as well as those that combine quality and quantity

Our areas of emphasis are

  • cultural strategies and vision processes
  • cultural future images
  • analysis and interpretation of cultural encounters
  • research into the encounter between human beings and the environment
  • culturally and socially sustainable development
  • welfare and the care field
  • ethnographic consumer research

Come and develop your own future with us!
