Interlibrary Loan Services for customers
Interlibrary Loan Service offers lending and copying service functions between libraries. If a customer wishes, Interlibrary Loan Service orders materials unavailable from the libraries in Turku from other Finnish or foreign libraries on loan or as photocopies. In the same way, the Library and Information Services sends, on request, materials from its own collections to other libraries.
For copyright reasons, copies of articles delivered as PDF files to Interlibrary Loan Service are always printed for the customer on paper. There are fees for these services. Please check the price list for services.

Interlibrary loans and loan periods for various materials:
Books in the reading room and distant collection: interlibrary loaned, loan period 28 days.
Text books: course books are not interlibrary loaned.
Newspapers and journals: not interlibrary loaned, but articles are sent as copies on paper.
Graduate theses: 28 days, reading room loan.
Department copies: not interlibrary loaned.
