MEET THEM IN TURKU

Mika Aaltonen is a Ph.D. (Economics), Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London, Board Member of the European Regional Foresight College in Paris, and Member of the Millennium Project in Washington. He is also Head and Chairmanof the Board of StraX (the research unit for strategic intelligence andexploration of futures) at Helsinki University of Technology and CEO of the Research and Analysis Corporation of Finland. 
 

Stefan Bergheim has worked as Senior Economist at Dresdner Kleinwort, Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank Research. Bergheim was the lead analyst in the Deutsche Bank´s megatopic Global Growth Centers, the interdisciplinary project that generated a novel framework for analysing long-run economic growth: Formel – G. Today he runs the German Centre for Societal Growth and Development.

Rolf Jensen. MSc. (Political Science), Founder and Chief Imagination, Officer of Dream Company A/S, former CEO of Copenhagen Institute of Future Studies, principal in the Ministry of Defence, then at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and also Ministry of Fisheries. He has written the bestsellers "The Dream Society" (translated into 10 languages), "Heartstorm" and "The Future Makers". Jensen is a frequently used advisor, author and lecturer on subjects within the future and corporate storytelling. He is currently on the Boards of Børnefonden (The Children’s Foundation), Foreningen FAIR and Byprojekt Tordenskiold. Rolf Jensen is a Fellow at the Royal Geographical Society.

Riel Miller is a specialist in long-run strategic thinking, foresight theory and practice. As a global foresight design consultant he works closely with clients to develop and implement state-of-the-art action-research and strategic decision making processes. For over twenty-five years his work has concentrated on how to assess and direct the potential for socio-economic transformation in the private and public sectors. Between 1995 and 2005 Riel Miller worked as a Principal Administrator in the International Futures Programme at the OECD.
